NEED FOR A BREAK AND SOME SPACE OF ONESELF
In a situation of illness, leisure, relaxation, and holidays may seem secondary. Yet these times are essential for a child's development. If a child does not have enough respite, if they are always on edge or alert, they risk developing a lack of vigilance for themselves and will be unable to develop an interest in learning and the world around them.
