IF IT'S A BROTHER OR A SISTER
With a brother or sister, you share the same origins, the same blood, the same memories, often the same roof… If they happen to “lose their mind,” to perceive external reality differently, to behave strangely, what might the siblings feel in their presence? How can these difficulties be addressed and the sibling relationship supported?

When you are the brother or sister of a vulnerable person, there is no legal obligation in the strict sense, neither by texts nor by jurisprudence, to provide assistance to them.
It is important to clearly distinguish between a legal obligation and a moral obligation, which one may or may not feel invested in as brothers and sisters.

BROTHERS AND SISTERS FACING PSYCHOTIC DISORDERS
Hélène Davtian and the Brothers and Sisters group of Unafam
A brother or sister is almost an alter ego, someone with whom we share the same origin, the same blood, the same memories, the same roof… If they happen to “lose their mind,” to see external reality differently than we do, to behave strangely, how does that change our relationship? How does it change us?
