FOR ALL PARENTS
All parents in the world ask themselves questions and wonder if they are doing the right thing, too much or not enough… The questions you ask yourself are therefore not necessarily related to the illness situation.
Numerous studies show that being a parent today presents new challenges, as society is changing rapidly and the educational models we received from our elders sometimes need to be revisited. Examples include increased loneliness, the impact of screens on family interactions, social pressures to perform, and financial difficulties.
Becoming a parent is a long-term commitment, as it involves guiding a child from birth to independence and adulthood. Parenting therefore requires adapting to the different stages of a child's life, because parenting a toddler is not the same as parenting a young teenager.

You can't raise a child alone, regardless of your parental situation or even if you're isolated. First, there's the other parent, the one with whom you share parental authority, the family and friends, and the professionals who will be involved in the child's education at different stages of their development.
The responsibility for raising a child rests primarily jointly with both parents, and the State must help them to exercise this responsibility.
Article 18 of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child

If parents separate, a child may experience feelings of insecurity, sadness, injustice, and anger. It is important not to let the child believe they are responsible for the separation, nor to let them imagine they have the power to reunite what the adults have decided to separate. During these difficult times, it is sometimes necessary to seek help to rethink the family structure, focusing on the children's needs.
